Oh the olden days, before people started coming to the internet to cyber shred the hearts of virtual strangers for the mere sport of it. I don't think things were ever the same after the infamous SUV discussion, which reduced some to tears. Bitter tears.

Foryousee, I too am nostalgic for that Kinder, Gentler view that seemed to unite all of us. But that was before 9/11/01 and the war in Iran, which taught us all to hate.

Now divided and frought with tension, the parlor, a former shell of itself, stands as a memorial to this hatred.

And life goes on.
