Rani walked into her very own hut and pulled a tub of water into the center of the den. She pushed up her sleeves and pulled back her hair, motioning for Nynx to come and hop into the tub.
I'm not going in THERE!
"You have to be clean, Nynx."
NO! No! Nonononononono!!
Rani bent down and picked up a squealing Nynx.
"Now -urgh- stop fighting me!"
NO! HELP HELP!
"Ah!" she cried, shoving Nynx into the tub. Nynx mewed weakly and submitted to the washing, Rani going over her fur with a soft sponge and getting the blood out of her fur with the suds, and then getting some more water to wash off everything. Nynx fairly leapt out and Yrani toweled her off.
"I think I'd rather be known as Rani now. It sounds simpler."
I like it.
The newly christened Rani grabbed a brush and pulled the tips through Nynx's mess of fur. "Aren't you glad of that bath now?"
No.
Cubs will be cubs.
No fair! Mama used to say that!
Right. Baths are a nuisance, but sometimes they're okay.
That's better.
