Hey Doug,

I was wondering if you were going to comment on my bowling theme. 'Sorry if I gave the impression that I thought there was something wrong with bowling.
I have a lot of respect for people who make it to the top of any sport because I know it takes a lot of hard work to get there.

I don't mean to belittle bowling, but I think if I had spent as much time the last few months practicing bowling as I had golfing I would've seen more improvement. Not to say I would be a "real" bowler, I just think I would've seen significant improvement.

I have seen improvement with golf too, but it's just slow going and sometimes I get very frustrated. That's when I think "I should be bowling... it's in the air condition, ice cold beer is always close by, I don't have to walk out in the woods find my ball... it comes back to me, I always get a 2nd chance to know 'em down, don't have to watch my buddy so close since the score is kept automatically, there's usually more than just 1 girl (the beer girl) to look at, a bowling ball is cheaper than a set of golf clubs, I mentioned the cold beer already, didn't I?"

Yep... I'm switching to bowling.

Phys Ed
