You want height but be careful that the trajectory is not too high. Take a look at the thread "Uh oh, Ed's thinkin' again".

Although NG & IMA say "face the ball at impact" this is not an absolute thing. When you look at video of Moe, Todd and Scott you see that they all have their hips slightly open to the target line at impact. They are, never the less, much less rotated than the vast majority of tour pros.
