I think you are right on the cause behind the picture. When I look at frame by frame of Moe (and Scott by the way) it is consistent that one video frame after impact the 'triangle' is reformed (both arms straight) and it is the next video frame (second after impact) that the release (club toe up) is very noticeable.

I think it is. In order to see these results after impact, the right arm has to still be flexed at impact (or some other 'ugly' adjustments need to be made). If the right arm is flexed at impact it is unlikely that your left wrist has 'broken down' (pronated).

If you sustain the left arm/shaft angle (wrist cock) until the club is horizontal in the downswing, you will likely get to impact before the right arm straightens. You will then straighten one video frame later and the club will be clearly toe up one video frame after that.

In another thread there is a discussion of 'stopping' the hit. I don't think you need to stop the hit so much as you need to stop the rotation of your torso. I think this is part of Remingtons 'up and under'.

You can do this yourself. If you 'swing' the club (you can do this real slow like Tai Chi) down and accross your body while being careful to stay facing the ball and keep the cock in the left wrist and the 'tray' position in the right, you will 'run out of' right arm about when your hands reach your left leg. At this point the movement will stop and the club will swing down to impact. You don't have to stop it, it will stop.

Peter.
