I agree with you to a certain extent about club fitting, as I have put together more then 100 sets of clubs so far.

The average sized man only needs minor adjustments to what is the parameters of standard length and lie on clubs at best. If you are tall or short or have short or long arms you may need some adjustments, but from my experience about 80% of the people can and will do just fine with off the rack clubs.

First and foremost you need a repeatable swing, then get club fitted, if you fit a club to a poor swing it isn't going to help one iota.

For someone to not be single axis at impact means they don't have a proper swing no matter what method they are using.

I show Moe as an example of why there is NO need for most club changes to perform a SA swing!
