In the video of Moe's demonstration from 2/00 he does this drill. Note the coin is not on the target line behind Moe but inside (between him and the target line). In the demo he holds the club with just his left hand and drags it back over the ground (in a natural arc centered on the left shoulder) to the coin. He says this was to train himself to take the club back low.
