HP,

About three years ago I had a CG lesson from a pro, he demonstrated the downswing to me by moving the hands back away from the target and then down. He also demonstrated the move without the golf club. He simply took a golf ball in his right hand, turned his shoulders as you would in your backswing then threw the golf ball straight down to the ground. This is the same move that Jack K. showed me, the only difference was that the CG pro cleared his hips out of the way while throwing the ball down to the ground. Of course Jack K. in his demonstration didn't clear the hips out of the way due to wanting your hips square to the ball at LPG impact.

I've read where someone said that they just throw their hands down at the ball, to me this promotes an over the top downswing.

Don
