A long time ago...while an asst.pro, I went across town to another well known teacher...we didn't hit balls...he took me into his office and he proceeded to show me pictures of Every good player on tour and what they had in common...toe up to toe up, was his final verdict...I asked how and he said it didn't matter, with your hands or body or combo, upright or flat or whatever, but it Had to happen...he didn't mention rotating arms or anything, just toe up/toe up...it confuses me to think about this and swing (so I don't)...but I know that it does happen...never thought of that as a release but I guess could be...to me release is, as you say, run out of (straightening) right arm at impact (even though it straightens slighty after)...mental imagery wise, this works for me....my video shows that my hands are still a little ahead at impact, that's what I want...hp
