I have to agree with DG here. I think that it is a good "mindset" to have ("like hitting a 300 yard chipshot")
because that will cause you to take a more relaxed, compact swing with even tempo. I don't doubt that there is still some "conventional" components in there swings, after all both have played this way the majority of their career..right? HOWEVER, I think that they demonstrate that you can modify the NG principles into your own individual swing as long as you maintain some manner of single axis.

For example when Clements was going over "pulling the club down from the top & down the target line", he made some comment to the effect that you did not have to bend over too far from the waist & reach out to the ball like Moe does, you can stand a little taller as long as you maintain the single axis setup. Anyways, yeah...I'm sure they were nervous...wouldn't you be???? I would take lessons from either of them tommorrow......By the way, wonder where they teach? Will have to call NG>>>>
