You can overlap and have it in the palm. I just did it and looked in the mirror. Perfect SA, and in the palm. Don likes to make up his own rules for what is considered a palm grip. If it's in the palm then it's a palm grip. If it's in the palm and the right hand is turned under the grip you will be perfect SA.

Why do some people have to make everything so difficult? Maybe that is why they fail at everything they do.
