The problem with the "patent question" (IMHO) is that it will be interpreted as one more Chazman attempt to start an argument (last time he asked about the patent applying to the then current gen2 clubs, things got ugly).

I believe the answer is that the CG is higher than traditional LCG clubs, but lower than earlier NG clubs (but that's sheer speculation on my part).

I agree with you about the inserts being lower in the clubs, but the inserts appear to be much more "circular" (ie, less elongated ovals) than what I remember seeing in other manufacturer's clubs. I also agree with you about "less lateral dispersion of the mass". That seems to be a common thread in all the NG clubhead designs.
