I don't wanna sound rude or anything like that, but that 'Map' bit was obviously a metaphor.
Anyone would have figured that.
My post was nothing but a bunch of Peter Pan marijuana smoking conversation just to put thought to answers and questions to reason since Drummond didn't get my point, because (if any of you didn't already know) perfection is subjective.
For instance; which perfection are we talking about? The Christian's perception?
Mine?.
Yours?
Is it thinking you know all the answers before you know the questions?
The Christian concept of perfection is ridiculous. To be perfect basically means to wait for God to provide everything for you, do everything in your power that is opposite of your instincts and nature, and have no desire to seek or learn about yourself and others. Love thy neighbor doesn't seem to apply to mainstream religion any more.
So, mow 'em all down, and let God sort 'em out!
Because if you die!
Who cares?!
You've got a one way ticket to Heaven, buddy!
That isn't perfection to me.
The world's idea of perfection is to have lots of money, a business major, looking good, and looking good on paper doesn't hurt either.
Let's not forget the size of your dick, tits, how much hair you have, how well you fuck, how well you write, drive, walk, talk, act, social graciousness, how well you play sports, and that you're either a Christian or if you have a "respectable" persona in the eyes of the media.
To me none of this is perfection.
And someone will always be able to top the other in the rat race.
Therefore, to me, perfection is uncharted.
No, you can't find it on a map. If it's discovered, let me know.
