I agree with you guys totally. It's better to talk about current events and hear both sides b/c stories happen so fast and become yesterday's news so quickly that we're often left with the opinion that the news people wanted us to have. Different opinions aren't addressed enough b/c they're allowed little credibility by the tv producers and newspaper editors so i'm all for talking things out (meticulously even, if needed).
