Subject: RUSSIAN BBQ UPDATE

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to remind you of what you signed up to bring to the BBQ. If you can't make it, I will need to know by Thursday, otherwise we will be counting on you!

To get there (by car):

1) Take Fulton to 30th and enter the park at 30th St.
2) Go LEFT on John F. Kennedy Drive
3) You will pass Lindley and Marx Meadows (both on the left)
4) Speedway Meadows is just past Marx Meadows on the right
5) Park on JFK Dr. and walk down into the grass area
6) The tables are #13 and 14, and are across the meadow from the restroom building

PLEASE TRY TO GET THERE BY NOON!!!

If you are bringing food, bring enough for 4-5 people. If you are bringing napkins, cups, utensils, plates, etc., please bring about 30 of each. If you are bringing soda, bring 2 or 3 6-packs or 2-3 2 liter bottles. And if you are bringing guests, please add a little more to whatever you're
contributing.

If you signed up to bring "food", but don't know what to bring yet, suggestions are: cheese & crackers (or bread), piroshki, caviar, and potato salad.

I have now spent $135 on food (meat) and the table reservations. I have received a total of $15 so far. If you can pitch in a few dollars (per person), I would be very grateful.

In the event of rain, the BBQ will be postponed. To verify, call my office extension at 422-5766, where I will leave a message to confirm postponment. (Keep your fingers crossed that this won't be necessary!)
