Subject: Operation Gateway Mission Briefing

Finally, all the officers involved in the upcoming operation were assembled in the briefing room aboard Pioneer. Gorgas began.

"First, I want to thank all of you for responding quickly. We've got a lot of ground to cover, so bear with me. By no, you've been apprised oof the two attacks on Fleet Admiral DeLanet by Tor Kel Ra. What you don't know is that it was the Mirror Universe counterpart of our Tor Kel Ra." Gorgas let that sink in a moment before continuing.

"Following those attacks, Tor next attempted to destroy Earth's Solar System, but was thwarted on both occasions by myself and a few others. He hasn't made any more attacks since then, but it's only a matter of time." Gorgas tabbed a control on the table, and the view screen behind him lit up with an image of Tor.

"Raven Team of the Black Watch successfully infiltrated the Mirror Universe and has reported back the following information: The Cardassian and Klingons, with the help of the Ralkans of the MU, have defeated the United Empire of Planets, which withdrew to the Gamma Quadrant. The Alliance controls Earth. The Alliance is currently completing construction of an Interdimensional Transporter, by which means they will attempt an invasion of our Universe." Gorgas let that sink in.

"They must be stopped at all costs, gentlemen. To that end, Pioneer has been fitted with an inclusion device, which will enable us to travel to the MU. This ship also has a cloaking device. We have two objectives: Objective One will be to destroy the Interdimensional Transporter. Pioneer is loaded with Mark VI Photon Torpedoes, which should do the job there, but we can't complete Objective One unless Objective Two is completed first. Objective Two will be the complete destruction of all relevant data in the construction of any more Interdimensional Transporters. T'Pel, that's where you and the Black Watch Alpha Team come in. Raven Team reports that the MU Vulcan Science Institute was instrumental in developing the technology for the Interdimensional Transporter, seems the UEP was going to use it before their troubles with the Alliance. You and Alpha Team, along with Dr. O'Neill for medical support, will go to Vlcan, locate the necessary files, and make sure they are completely destroyed, along with any backups. To get you there, we have several Wraith-class shuttles embarked. You will utilize those, and once your mission is completed, report to Earth's moon. We'll be waiting you there." Any questions?
