I just found a query on Everette Bass (1775-1834) with a list of his children in Sampson County NC. I see that he and his wife, Rhoda, have a daughter JANE. I pray she is my 3rdgreat grandmother Jane Bass who married Francis Hilliard, Jr., 25 Feb 1789, in Franklin County NC. The young couple returned to Wayne County where all the family of Hilliards lived. They had been in what was Dobbs County NC and where Everette Bass lived. . By 1800,, all the Hilliards and some Bass families moved to GA. I would appreciate any help and suggestions. Thank you for this service. Luanne Spence Taylor
