A native to Australia, Zeke is very family orientated. He grew up on a racing farm near Sydney with his mother and younger sister, Kayla. His father had left a year after Kayla, now 7, was born. His mother was swept into a depression until they bought the farm, and she met Jake- the trainer. Jake was every inch the man any woman would want, except for one glitch- he was color blind. Not deterred by this at all, they soon married and had a well working farm on their hands. At age 9 Zeke had begun training to become a jockey, working the horses, and earning money at a nearby car dealer washing cars. It wasn’t until he turned 13 that his dream became a problem. Washing the cars one day, a storm had swept through Sydney; record breaking winds and lighting strikes all over. As he was moving the car, it got struck by lighting, triggering the gene handed down by his father. He now couldn’t touch anything or anyone without shocking them. The shocks soon went away and he continued on with his life. Riding in his first race at the age of 14 was when the mutation became obvious. As he passed the finish line in 2nd place, he had shocked the rider in front of him, with just one small thought. Back at the car dealer he had started the car with his mind. Realizing he controlled all form of electricity, his life suddenly became quite interesting. Jake had caught him playing with the power one day, and had begun researching for help. Soon enough Zeke was on a 20-hour flight to New York to attend Xavier’s Institute.
