me: well i haven't had that much time to talk to you so you would kno what i can and can't do.

nelly: well look get dress and we'll go somewhere we can talk without anybody around.

me: ok.*i go take a shower and get dress and i go in the living room and murphy just looks at me.* what?

murphy: nothing.

ali: you can tell you ain't from here.

me: why is it from the way i walk?*we start laughin*

ali: nah it's the way you dress.

me: what's wrong with it?

murphy: nothing. all the gurls around here dress real ghetto. they wear less clothes as possible. but you only show a little bit of your body parts.

me: and that's a good thing right?

everybody: yes.

me: ok then i'm cooh.*then nelly came down. now that i kno he's my brother i can't look at him like he is fine i think he is not cute.* so you ready ugly?

nelly: yeah ugly i'm ready. ya'll don't mess up my house.

ky: we won't cuz dawn is here.

dawn: that's right.

me: do your thang gurl tell them to clean up.

dawn: i will.

murphy: you will?

dawn: yes i will.

ali: see kima it's time for you to go home.

me: why?

ali: cuz dawn is going to act just like you. cuz i kno that ya'll going to be the best of friends.

me: and ain't nothing wrong with that.

everybody: hey batter up.

me:*laughin* ya'll need help.

nelly: come on kima.

me: ok. bye ya'll.

everybody: bye.

*so we left and we went to a nice park where nobody was at. i mean it was nice and green rose everywhere and playgrand. but nobody was there.*

me: where's everybody?

nelly: people don't come here alot cuz it's to far to drive.

me: oh.

nelly: so what can and can't you do?

me: did you kno about me?

nelly: what? i asked you a question.

me: i kno but did you kno about me?

nelly: look kima i seen you a couple of times but that's when i was little. so when dad left me and moms i just forgot all about the times when we came to see you.

me: why didn't you take me with you?

nelly: well at the time moms and pops was not gettin along to well so they gave you to grandma and they told her to tell you that they had went away for a while and never came back.

me: but she never told me that. she said that they couldn't take care of me.

nelly: well they couldn't take care of the two of us.

me: so you got to stay since you were older then me? that's not right.

nelly: dad seen it as the boy stays and they gurl goes to grandma because he thought i would turn up gay if i would have went to grandma's.

me: so they gave me away cuz i was a gurl?that is not right.

nelly: look kima mom didn't want to but dad made her.

me: then way when he left she didn't come get me?

nelly:__________

me: why can't you answer that?*tears started to form* nelly.

nelly: i'm going to take you to somebody that can tell you better then i could.

me:_________


nelly: do you want to go?

me:*crying* i don't care.

nelly: come here. * he hugged me and i cried harder* it's cooh kima come on.* so we got in the car and he called somebody.*

Fv: hello.

nelly: mom.

rhonda: what boy.

nelly: i'm comin over i got something to tell you and show you.

rhonda: what did you and dawn do now?

nelly: *laughs* it ain't got nothing to do with dawn.

rhonda: then what?

nelly: just wait til i get there.

rhonda: ok.* so they hung up*

me: wait she don't kno?

nelly: i didn't want to tell her if you wasn't going to come so i just wanted to suprize her.

me: oh.

nelly: you don't want to go?

me: i do, but i'm scared.

nelly: kima you don't have to be scared.

me: i kno but i am.

nelly: it will be cooh.

me: i hope so. * after while we got to this nice big house and nelly got out but i didn't move. he looks at me and opens the door.*

nelly: come on.*so i got out and we went in the house.* mom where you at?

rhonda: i'm in here.* we walked in the living room and she looked at me then at nelly. then nelly went to give her a kiss.* who's this?

nelly: this is that thing i have to tell you.

rhonda: well....

nelly: mom this is kalimah.

rhonda: nelly don't play like that you kno how i feel about her.

nelly: mom i'm not playing.

me: hi mom.* she looks at me and i guess she sees my dad in me and some of her. her eyes started to water and gave to me and gave me a big hug and we both started to cry. we just hugged for a long time and then when we let go she just looked at me and we sat down.*

nelly: see mom i wouldn't play with you like that.

rhonda: how did you find each other?

me: mom grandma passed away.

rhonda: what?

me: a couple of days ago.

rhonda: are you ok?

me: i'm fine. i'll miss her but i kno she'll watch over me.

rhonda: she sure will.

nelly: mom me and kima was talkin and she had some questions that i couldn't answer.

rhonda: yeah and what was that?

me: when dad left why didn't you come get me?

rhonda: well when he left he took everything but nelly. i didn't have nothing so i couldn't take care of you and him so i left you there cuz i knew you was doin good there. i knew you would grow up to be a good looking gurl and you have.

nelly: mom and she can sing.

rhonda: what?

nelly: yeah i heard her today. she can really sing.

rhonda: can you sing something for me?

me: what you want me to sing?

rhonda: anything that comes to mind.* so i started to sing lean on me by kirk franklin. she started to cry.*

nelly: see told you mom.

rhonda: yeah and you told me you had to tell me something. so what?

nelly: oh yeah kima is going to live with me.

rhonda: she is?

me: yeah, since i don't have any family to stay with they said i can stay with nelly.

rhonda: that's great. now i will always know where you are.

me: yes you will.*so we stayed there til about 2:00 in the morning and then we went home and when we got there everybody was sleep. so me and nelly went to sleep in the living room with everybody else.
