~A week later Kima and Murph were supervising Laila's visit with Damon when Kima's cell rang.~
Kima: Wuz da deal?
Nelly: Yo Kima get down to the hospital.
Kima: Why? Wuz up? Is Dawn having the baby?
Nelly: Yeah.
Kima: It's about dayum time. lol Aight we're on our way.
~Kima hung up her phone and turned to Murph.~
Murph: So she's having the baby now?
Kima: Yep.
Murph: And you wanna go down there don't you?
Kima: Yep.
Murph: So what are we going to tell Laila?
Kima: Tell she'll have to come back tomorrow or sumthin.
Murph: Aight. ~walking over to Laila and Damon~ Yo Laila we're going to have to cut this a lil short.
Laila: Why? I just got here. Is it her? ~mugging Kima~
Murph: No, it's not. Sumthin kinda important came up and Kima and I have to go.
Laila: She's putting you up to this isn't she?
Murph: No, I just told you...
Kima: ~cutting him off~ You don't have to explain nothing to her. But if you must know my brother's gurl is getting ready to have a baby and we're going to the hospital.
Laila: Oh. ~feeling stupid~ Well why can't Damon go with me?
Kima: What?! That was funny.
Laila: I'm fa real. You don't really want to have D at the hospital all day do you?
Murph: Come on Kima. Lets talk.
~They walk into the kitchen.~
Kima: Murph you can't be seriously thinking about letting her take him are you?
Murph: Why not? Man gets to spend time with his mother and we don't have to worry about him running around the hospital.
Kima: This is a set up.
Murph: Well what do you want me to do Kima?
Kima: You know what I want you to do, but Man is not my son and I have no say. I told you I'll do whateva you think is best.
Murph: Okay. Then he can go.
Kima: Fine.
~They walk back over to Laila and Damon.~
Murph: Okay Laila he can go with you. We'll pick him up in the morning.
Laila: Great! ~smiling at Murph and then mugging Kima again~
~Everybody got their stuff and went their seperate ways.~

~~~@ the hospital~~~
~Nelly was standing in the hallway when Kima and Murph walked up.~
Kima: Hey big bro. ~hugging him~ How's she doing?
Nelly: She's coo. She's in there with Chelle. You can go on in.
Kima: Aight. ~she walks in~ Wuz up ppl?
Chelle: Nuthin much. Just listening to Dawn talk crazy. lol
Dawn: I ain't talkin crazy. I'm fa real. Don't have kids. This shit is crucial.
Kima: That's just the pain talkin.
Dawn: No this is me talkin. Y'all betta listen. I'm just tryin to warn y'all.
Chelle: Don't trip. Ali talkin bout kids, but I don't think so until I see a ring on this finger.
