Dawn: You were just suppose to be my friend. When I finally confided in you and when I needed a shoulder to lean on and somebody to tell me everything would be okay you didn't come through for me. How do I know you gon be there for me now?
Zane: Becuz I said so and I'm a man of my word. Besides I been doin a lot of thinking and I finally realized that I neva gave you a fair chance and I really do like you and wanna help you get through this.
Dawn: Whateva. I don't have time for this bullshit. I've heard shit like this so many times from so many guys.
Zane: But I'm not every other nigga. I'm Zane Copeland and I'm trying to be real with you.
Dawn: Look Zane I gotta go.
~Dawn turned to walk away and Zane grabbed her by the arm.~
Zane: Why you always running from me dayum? Just talk to me. For once just be real with me.
Dawn: The truth is I really like you too, but if Anton every found out I told you any of this that would be your ass.
Zane: Anton?! I can handle my own gurl.
Dawn: Yeah well I can't take that risk. I have Jerell to think about and I don't even wanna know what Anton would do to me. I'll see ya round Zane.
~Dawn turned away and walked into Brandie's room.~

~Before Brandie could respond Dawn walked in the room.~
Dawn: Sorry we couldn't stay longer, but I gotta run. Come on boo. ~walking over to Jerell and picking him up~
Brandie: What happened with you and Zane?
~Dawn just shook her head.~
Dawn: Kiss Tee Tee Bran.
Jerell: ~kissing Brandie's cheek~ Bye Tee Tee Bran.
Brandie: Bye baby.
Jerell: Bye Uncle Rome.
Jerome: Bye Lil Man.
Dawn: Bye y'all. Brandie get your rest and I'll call you lata.
~Just as Dawn was walking out the door Zane was walking in. They stared at each other for a minute and then Dawn flew out the door.~
Jerome: Dayum! What was that about?
