The king lets a grin crawl across his unshaven face, his eyes cathing her wary glance towards the winged 'bouncer'. He chuckles, taking her arm in his and whispering so that only she could hear.

"I know he looks a little strange." His tone is barely above audible. "But he asked for the job willingly. Here comes Aurora. He'll be offended if we stare, love."

Clearing his throat then, Saxom moves with his wife away from the food tables. As they approach the dancing floor, he takes one last look at his daughter and winks pleasantly.

"Stay away from the wine table, you," he jokes, half-smirking his mischievous demeanor. Cupping one hand around the side of his mouth, he adds with a humorous tone, "I don't want you drinking the same stuff you Uncle Oscar does."

Laughing, Saxom takes the Queen's hands in his. "A dance it is then. Maestro!"

The grizzled orchestra conductor lifts his head to lift a formal brow towards his king.

"Play 'Guardian Angel' for me, would you, old friend?"

"Certainly," says the maestro, his voice a hoarse whisper. Lifting his hands, he begins a familiar melody...
