The king stops as well, hiding a smile from the fact they had drawn attention from those whom were actually paying it. He stands for a moment, nodding once.

"We still make a fine spectacle," he says, trying to put the embarassing moment into lighter moods. He then averts to the subject of their son again.

"Perhaps not tonight, but he will make that choice. I still have tonight to pass along his birthday gift. That, of course, it easily entrusted to him. I'll have to start sword-training him again, however. I don't think he'll be used to the weight of the new one I'm giving to him."
