Subject: Playing via VASL with Speech software

I recently got the Cross of Iron expansion game and I am really impressed with it. I would hope to engage some of the COI scenerios via VASL but with one exception. I am new to VASL and COI in general. I wonder does anyone playing the PREASL series use a voice assist program (such as Roger Wilco) while playing? The reason I ask is being a newbie may fustrate a seasoned player. If we both had voice capability, I could learn the system with the help of a veteran, not to mention the added convenience of real time communication. Thanks for any input. Just curious.
