Just a tad late, but since no one else has replied, I will give this a go. If a stack with a leader is fired on, resulting in a morale check, and the leader fails, then, yes , the squads in the hex would have to make two morale checks each.
Example: a stack contains a 9-2 leader and 3 447's. They are fired upon resulting in a "2" moral check. If the leader rolls an 8, he is broken (needed a 7), so each of the squads must roll two morale checks, one at 5 (because of the hit), one at 7 (because of the leader breaking).
