SOUTHERN DREAM NATIONAL PAGEANT
October 26. 2002
Livingston Texas- Park Inn

Registration is to begin on Friday night at 7PM and last until 9 PM. All contestants will need to register at this time. We will have the baby and boy pageant beginning at 9AM on Saturday morning with crowning to follow. Youth pageant will begin at 2 PM with crowning to follow. I would like to personally invite you to come and compete at the Southern Dream 2002 National Pageant. This year I have made some changes to the schedule and I hope that you and your child has a great time and meet your new and old pageant buddies.

AGE GROUPS
You will compete that age you are the day of the pageant!Please have proof of age available if nessacery.

BOYS: 0-2 yrs and 3-5 yrs
GIRLS: Baby Pageant 0-12 mos, 13-26 mo, 27-36 mo.
Youth Pageant: 3-4 yrs, 5-6 yrs, 7-9 yrs, 10-12 yrs.

Competition and Awards:
BEAUTY: You will compete in your Pageant attire for the beauty title. Southern Dream is a glitz beauty pageant. Hair extensions, make up , rhinestones, etc are allowed.
Each age group will model on the T formation. You will be judged on physical beauty, personality/modeling, & over-all appearance. You will receive your score sheets after the crowning ceremony.
Each age group will award a National Beauty Winner. They will receive a Beautiful National Crown, Monogrammed banner, Banner Pin, National Trophy, and a Nice gift on stage. Winners will receive gifts at all 2003 Southern Dream Pageant appearances/Pageants.
Each group will award 2 alternates. Each alternate will receive a National trophy and a gift.All other contestants will receive a tiara or a participation trophy and a gift bag filled with goodies. NO ONE LEAVES THE STAGE EMPTY HANDED!!!!!!!!!

PHOTOGENIC: Each age group will award a photogenic winner. They will receive a nice trophy and gift.

MOST BEAUTIFUL/HANDSOME:Each age group will award a Most Beautiful/Handsome winner. Judged on facial beauty only!!!! Each winner will receive a monogrammed banner and a gift.

BEST FASHION: Each age group will award a Best Fashion winner. Judged on your pageant attire only!!!!! Each winner will receive a nice trophy and gift.

AGE GROUP SUPREME WINNERS
Each age group will award a DIVISIONAL SUPREME WINNER. This will be the highest combined scores for Beauty, Most Beautiful/Handsome, Photogenic and Best Fashion.
If you win Division Supreme, you will not win Beauty in your group or any other Over-All Award.
Each winner will receive a Beautiul National Crown, Monogrammed banner, banner pin, national trophy,and a nice gift on stage.Plus many gifts through out the year!!!!!

2 winners per pageant. 0-36 months and 3 yrs and up.
This will be the contestant with the highest beauty score.
She will receive a beautiful national crown, monogrammed banner, banner pin, national trophy, nice gift on stage and gifts throuh out the year.

GRAND SUPREME QUEENS

2 winners per pageant. 0-36 months and 3 yrs and up. This will be the contestant with the highest combined score in all events listed above.
She will receive a BEAUTIFUL LARGE NATIONAL CROWN, MONOGRAMMED BANNER, BANNER PIN,LARGE NATIONAL TROPHY, SEPTOR, OFFICIAL SOUTHERN DREAM TEDDY BEAR BOUQUET, BEAUTIFUL SOUTHERN DREAM CUSTOM PHOTO ALBUM, MONOGRAMMED SOUTHERN DREAM GRAND SUPREME PILLOWCASE W/PILLOW, AND A BOX FULL OF GIFTS...plus she will receive a $1000.00 US SAVINGS BOND WHEN SHE CROWNS HER SUCCESOR AT THE 2003 SOUTHERN DREAM NATIONAL PAGEANT.
National GRAND Supreme Crown will be atleast 15" tall!!

NO DOUBLE CROWNING AT THE PAGEANT!!!! This gives us the opportunity to award more titles at Nationals!!!

Rules and regulations:
You will receive your score sheets after crowning. I will not tolerate any unsporstmanshop like behavior.
Each contestant is required to bring a gift for the Grand Supreme Queen to be crowned in your group. Ex.- if you are a baby contestant you will need to bring 1 wrapped gift with congratulations marked on it from: your name, for your 0-36 mo. winner. We will have a nice bag or box for the new 2002 Grand Supreme Queens , they will receive all gifts at crowning. Also EACH contestant is required to bring RHEAGAN CARROLL a nice Queens gift. Rheagan is the 2001 GRAND SUPREME QUEEN, Rheagan will receive all gifts when she makes her final walk during the youth crowning that evening.Please have gifts wrapped and marked with your name. You will turn in your gifts at the pageant registation on Fri evening.

NO PERSONAL CHECKS!!! I am sorry for this but I cant accept any personal checks any longer. If you send one I will have to return it back to you. Only money orders or cashiers checks will be accepted. CASH ONLY at the door will be accepted. This rule will be strictly enforced so please do not ask.

DEADLINE FOR THE PAGEANT IS: OCTOBER 15!!! This means I must have your entry form and deposit in hand no later than this date!!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!

I have changed the pageant agenda this year to try to keep the cost down for the contestants. We will have NO clothes changes this year, all you need is your pageant attire for Beauty and your photogenic picture.Hopefully this will also help in running a smooth and on time schedule!!! Please keep in mind that I will in no way tolerate bad sportsmanship in any way!!! Any one that displays bad sportsmanshop will be asked to leave the pageant without refund.Lets all plan for a fun filled pageant and make lots of pageant memories to cherish forever!!! If you have any questions please feel free to email me!!! I will help in any way that I possibly can!!!
No dressing room will be provoded. NO FOOD OR DRINKS ALLOWED IN THE PAGEANT ROOM!!!! Trash cans will be there for you to put trash in them!!! Please do not throw down papers, etc on the floor in the pageant room!!!!
No refunds for NO SHOWS!!!! $$$ will be applied to next pageant!!!
NO CAMERA'S allowed in the Pageant room, we will have a photographer there for your stage shots!!!

Admission will be charged to the public of $5 Contestants and 1 parent free admission.

Registration will be held on Friday night Oct 25 from 7-9. At this time you will receive your contestant pack, pay the balance of your fees,and turn in your photogenic pics. Refreshments will be available to the contestants and I will have SWEETHEART SACKS provided for you, for each contestant to drop a good luck note, trinket or candy in at registration. you may call me for the #'s in your group, however I will not give out group info such as names, only numbers.Sacks will be handed out at crowning. The contestants really enjoy receiving these sacks filled with goodies from each other.
