Thanks for responding. This is not my board but it holds a special place in my posting life. I think there would be now way you can guarantee a person will start smoking or even smoke more. I think the reward system has the best possibility. Take her to places that encourage smoking. If a place prompts her to smoke, return. You could revert to that old standby of honesty. Just ask. Remember, most likely, a hint or begging will not produce results. Also remember, she may like smoking so much she smokes more than you want. You need to go into this knowing results may vary and be willing to accept any result.
