OK, this is why they have blood lust (skip puncuation no time) The virus was really a project to heal people (although I don't know why they called it the T-Virus if it was supposed to help people)anyhow the way it "helped" people. but it mutated them and screwed up there mind and there was a strange craving for flesh as in Resident Evil 1 they explained how the got so hungry and couldn't eat other things or there skin got ichy and painful and the only way to stop the pain was well...Flesh and human brains and they are stronger because...well...they are dead.
