Enterteenment announced today that they have entered into a two-year partnership with Miss America’s Outstanding Teen and will serve as the pageant's exclusive broadcast partner.

Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, the sister pageant to Miss America, returns for its fifth year and will be hosted by Miss America, Katie Stam and Todd Newton with feature guest performances by American Idol’s Jasmine Murray. Ben Eleazer and Elena LaQuatra will be hosting the behind the scenes footage for Enterteenment.

“We are excited to be able to offer the 2009 competition and behind-the-scenes footage online for the first time. We are so pleased with our partnership with Enterteenment. The two-year broadcast partnership kicks off at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida August 12th with a fabulous behind-the-scenes four-day ‘teen e’ pre-series followed by the 2010 Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Pageant on August 15th 2009, airing online August 16th on the Enterteenment Network at www.enterteenmentonline.com/enterteenment.html.

While surveying my titleholders page, I noticed one of her friends had posted a comment on her wall. The friend was absolutely stunning and I believe I had seen her in a pageant about a year ago. So I clicked on the profile, expecting to see limited info. Instead I notice that the facebook is public. On this girls page, I see comments made by my titleholder with profanity and discussions of wild, drunk nights out. In the girls albums, I see pictures of my udersge titleholder with a hookah i believe is the name and alcohol. what do I do? What can I do? I am fully aware that this girl is not representing what she stands for with that crown, her contracts, or her morals. At the same time, the disturbing postings were not on her profile. However, anyone else could have clicked on her friends profile and been shocked. Suggestions are appreciated.

We didnt have the girls sign one and dont know many that did. We were all under the the idea that MAO rules had to be followed which states you win it it's yours even if you quit the next day. The scholarship is awarded on stage for what you did that weekend. As long as you can provide a current bill and its sent to your school then they have to pay. They cant stipulate waiting a year or anything until you come back. Heck some of these don't repeat their pageant. Most girls wait until after state to ask but we pay ours immediately because legally we're bound to and its the right thing to do and its one more thing out of the way. So who asks girls to wait and how do they get a way with stipulating they come crown or dont get the money? Its not a scholarship then its pay and its against MAO rules we think.

In one moment, you will be what everyone wants and the next, you will be despised. The only true satisfaction you can gain from competing is doing your absolute best and leaving Jackson knowing that you have done everything in YOUR power to accomplish goals you have set. Just because you don't return home with the Miss Tennessee Crown on your head, does not mean that you didn't "win" or accomplish anything. I enjoyed my time competing each year and I am thankful for the opportunities I given. With that being said, don't let anyone fool you. Grow some tough skin and stay true to yourself. If you want to try, give it your all. Don't halfway do it...you'll come home unsatisfied and hating life. Go head first 110% and give it your all. It is a job...and if "your best" isn't what "they are looking for," take your best and give it to something else. It wasn't meant for you!
