We lost many two years ago and more this past year. We're going to be losing directors next because they can't get girls, especially competitive ones. Numbers are down in almost all states, don't try to make the lack of contestants an issue only in Tennessee because of percieved politics. How about also taking into account the choice of other pageants to compete in, arts being cut from schools therefore there is often not a place to recognize talent and cultivate it, the economy-and pageant competition is not cheap.
