Wilson I truely believe could be Miss Tennessee with lots of time and lots of work on interview and wardrobe. Her evening gown never makes her shine and I don't know why. And there is nothing wrong with that - each pageant/diretor has different goals. Elmer is big on his girls being able to perform lots of community service. But, pageant directors orient judges. And that does not always mean that the "best" girl wins. Rankings eliminate that. I judged a pageant where I judged according to "best" and ranked according to what the director told us she was looking for in a titleholder. Elmer was standing beside tabulator pointing out things on computer during final tabulations. I don't feel a director should be anywhere near that table when scores are being finalized.
