Jim Garrison pointed out that Lee Harvey Oswald was a poor rifleman. That is far from the truth. Oswald qualified as a sharpshooter in his first test (and as a marksman in his second), hitting the target 9 out of 10 times from 200 yards while he was in the Marines. In Dealey Plaza, the limousine was less than 90 yards away at its farthest and moved slowly away from the Texas School Book Depository in close to a straight line. It would have been very easy for Oswald to fire three shots within 10 seconds and manage to successfully eliminate a slowly moving target.

This information can be found on the ~ricpan site in the Garrison Case.
