the Shire
The Green Grass Valley

the Shire is a small, fairy-tale like land where the grass is always at its best and the rivers area always running with the freshest drinking water. This region is the smallest of them all, however is a beautiful valley fit only for the best steed. The main rivers are the River Lhun and Lake Evendim. This region is mostly covered in grassy hilltops, and another region Minhiriath to it's south-east.
