Perhaps the VQF format is new to you. Like MP3, VQF is an audio compression format. The quality of VQF is similar to MP3 and the size is smaller than MP3.

I guess you are using Winamp. You can play VQF file with Winamp by installing a "Winamp VQF plug-in". The plug-in is available at:
http://www.vqf.com/software.php3

Download the plug-in and follow the instruction in the Readme file. If you find the procedure is too complicated, please feel free to drop me a line again.
