AQUILA SONNET
Prometheus was teacher of science,
Who gave the gift of fire to humans.
This angered Zeus and made him very tense,
Chained him to a pillar in the mountains.
All day and night, Aquila torn his flesh,
King of birds and Zeus' loyal servant.
Damned forever, guilty Prometheus,
Strong Hercules relieved his punishment.
He talked to Zeus and got on his good side.
Centaur "Chiron," spared immortality
And freed him from the master of the sky.
Hercules shot down Aquila's body.
Chiron has saved Prometheus for death.
Relieved was he to breathe his final breath.
