Greetings,
We read your messages. You all have done a lot of thinking about it. THanks for the effort.
This message thing is indeed cool. While I am doing this on-line, Mom is calling Lara back about cookies.
My thought is that Snow Mountain is a bit harder to get to, and the area is not as nice to do other things other than the YMCA stuff. Estes has a lot of stuff around.
The $1000 thing is very steep in my books. If they would have a 7 bed thing in Estes at the $500 +/- range, it would suit me better. All together doesn't bother me. BUT, 7 beds means 14 people, and I am not sure they would permit 23 people in it, what do you think?
Timing wise, I don't have a preference for 2003. We are available.
There are a lot of things to do at the Estes facility, swimming, horseback riding, crafts, many hiking excursions that are guided to some neat mountain lakes, etc, day care, camp outs, campfires, BB, tennis, etc. Snow mountain may have most of this, but back when we were there it was about 1/2 developed from the state of Estes at the time.
That is all I can think of.
