Subject: I really want the answer

I used to be an optimistic person, being brave and tough enough to cope with any kind of difficulties. Having long known that I am not as talented as my classmates, I do always do my best to improve my acadmeic performance. But again and again, no matter how hard I try and how much time I spend on doing revision, still, there is no improvement(not even little!). Frankly, I find it not difficult to face the problems. What frustrating is that it seems I will never have a 'surprise' every time I receive my test papers and report card. Now I am wondering whether it is worth doing this endless 'task' with no reward...Where is my perseverant character once I possessed?

'Surprise' is not easy to have.
I don't know which form you are studying. But I would like to tell you my story.
In form 4, my Math was very poor. At the final examination, I scored 39 (170/200). But I did not give up, I went on study hard with my Math. Finally, I got 'C' in HKCEE.
"Surprise" may not appear although you work very hard.
But, "surprise" must not happen if you don't work hard.
