Subject: Fire Ants trade Giggs

Phoenix - Martin Giggs finally got his wish.

Today, the Phoenix Fire Ants sent Giggs and Samuel El
Amin to the Ice Flyers in exchange for James Parrish
and legendary player Bernard Fisher.

Parrish is expected to start in Phoenix for the rest of
the season.

GM Joe Malloy made these comments concerning the trade.
"El Amin is a class act, and it's real tough to lose this
guy. In fact, El Amin didn't want to be traded because
he doesn't want to be Giggs teammate anymore. Hopefully
the Ice Flyers will be able to work things out in
that regards. We'll miss El Amin here in Phoenix, and
wish him the best."

"About Martin Giggs, I don't think anything I'll say after this will be fit for a family newsboard. He's made threats
towards me, towards various teams that I own and play for.
I don't think it's fair that he's allowed to make those
sorts of comments. I swear, Giggs is going to pay. I
better not say any more, because my mouth just might get
my in trouble with the league offices, but they know how
I feel about him."

Giggs said in response to the trade. "Good, I hated Phoenix
and Joe Malloy anyway. The people there sucked, and Malloy
sucked as well. I don't consider what I did to be threats,
but if he wants to sic his players on me, no matter
who they are or what league they're from, go ahead. I'll
be ready. Anybody associated with Malloy isn't very
smart, in fact, I'll say they're mindless. If they do
anything to hurt me, I'm just gonna do whatever it takes
to get Malloy thrown out of any league he is involved in."

The war between these two heat up, and it could get very
interesting in two weeks when the Fire Ants visit the
Ice Flyers.
