Subject: Grief & Dispear...

*^Her silver eyes turned blue as they welled up with tears. An obvious sign of sadness & grief in her. She stood in the doorway looking around the room. At the bed, the chairs out the window, everything & tried to imagine life ever returning to the land now so desolate & barren. Lifeless in its own. Long had she toiled in the hopes that her king, or atleast her lover would return to her. Victorious or not she cared little other than for the return of him. Still, centuries must have passed since she recieved the message from Edward to say he would be returning home to her. He had never come though & this had sorely hurt her. As the years do pass, so to did her memory of Edward fade until it dwindled at the back of her mind on the very verge of being forgotten. And yet unlike most other things, something, an inner hope, kept her holding on to the love that she still felt*^

"Long I have toiled & journeyed & still I have yet to find him. I seek no longer my lover for I knew him to be mortal & so it is to my reckoning that he does be dead now. But my beloved husband lives on I am sure"

*^She slid down the wall before lying on the ground & crying, her delicate hand a fist on the cold hard stone beneath it*^
