As of today, Steve & Barry's at the OAKLAND MALL has in stock red sweatshirts with "DETROIT" (in blue with white trim) sewn on the front. Sizes are L and M only. I typically wear a XL or 44 jacket, but the L is plently big on me. Cost is approximately $15.00. These are some sharp looking sweatshirts.

The stock will go fast. The Steve & Barry's at Great Lakes Crossing sold out of their allotment in less than a week. The Fairlane store did the same right before X-mas. The store manager tells me that beyond Titan fans, Piston fans, Red Wing fans? (even with blue lettering?), and people who just live in the metro-detroit area buy these sweatshirts.

With a six month off-season to work with, I am planning new SPREAD THE RED program for next year which will be "attention-grabbing" to say the least.
