Both UC-Irvine and Utah St. are ahead of us in the RPI. Both participated in the NIT in last season, so they have a "relationship" with the NIT. I think it would help us more to have either UC-Irvine or Utah St. take an auto NCAA bid and open up another NIT slot, then to have UC-Santa Barbara (RPI 130ish) win one or two more games and take the auto NCAA bid with both UC-Irvine and Utah St. taking NIT bids. What's your take???
