Green Grabs Spot On AP All-America Team

Titans guard Willie Green had one more honor added to his post-season list Thursday when he was named an honorable mention All-American by Associated Press.
Green is the second Titan in three years to receive the honor from AP, following fellow guard Rashad Phillips (2001). Green is the only Horizon League player to make AP's 2003 All-America list.

Green is spending this weekend in New Orleans, where he will play Sunday against the Harlem Globetrotters as a member of the 10-man NABC All-Star Team.

The 2003 Horizon League Player of the Year, Green was also been named a Mid-Major All-American by CollegeInsider.com. He led the league in scoring this season with a 22.6 average, and finished fourth on the all-time Titan scoring list with 1,779 career points.
