This was the only set-back in his ways - he sometimes got too carried away. Lowering his gaze, he allows her time & space to think things through. He wished to comfort her..but, he probably would only make things worse. He knew not how he could correct his mistakes..did she? Noble was going to be given to her..but, she deserved something higher. Me thinks, Co-Matriarch shall be given to her! Yes, t'was true. But, would she think he was only giving her such a rank out of pity? No..for she truly did deserve it! He sighed & lowered himself to the ground - despair still felt within his bones. How was he ever could to make this up to her?..::
