I was at Heswall in 1947 for nearly two years, I was in No 2 dormatory, My best mucker was John Buckland No 1 Dormatory. And my Shephered was a boy called Mudd. I arrived there when most of the school was at summer camp picking potatoes.
The Captian was Mathews, Comander Johnson (with the funny sideburns) GI was Jilty. (who was handy with the cain) DI was Mason. and Pinky Bernard was an instructor, there was several instructors, another one was Danny something.
I left in 1948 to join the 'Wiawera' Shaw saville and Albion line, out of Liverpool.
I now live in NE Norfolk. Like to hear from anyone with similar experiances.
