I think taking the game back and getting another copy will probably do no good. It the cd were defective, you wouldn't even be able to install the game on your computer. I would suggest you get the latest drivers for your video card and sound card and install them. Also, make sure there's not a lo of stuff running in memory on your computer when you play (Virus protection programs, Instant messengers, and even firwall programs.) Also make sure you have the latest patches installed fo any game you play.....especially if it is crashing on your computer. I think if you mess around with it enough, you can get ti working.
