† He strides into the clinic, ready to work. Countenance flush'd that he was late, knowin' that was not the way to start a new job and impress his employ'r. He sigh'd softly. Lookin' around for anyone else. He had giv'n it thought to stayin' in the guest house with his sister. That might be best at this time. He wonder'd if it'd be alright that they had pets. Afterall he couldn't part with Rafe and he knew Jessalyn would not part with Sam. Plus he'd have to see about where he could keep a coupla of equines of his. O'Leary's McDougal would be arrivin' day after 'morrow. He was anxious to see his strappin' chestnut. He couldn't wait to exercise the big Irish Sporthorse. And he couldn't wait to put Carraigh thro' his paces, Jessalyn's Irish Draught need'd some work, tho' the big grey wasn't likely to forget anything. Then he had some calls to make about an Irish TB and his newest purchase of a Friesian Stallion from the Netherlands in Germany. Ahh.....this job would be good if he could keep it. He wander'd out, down towards the stables. Havin' o'erheard that a mare was kept down there with her twins. He knew twins were rare and want'd to see if both were doin' fine. A smile e'er present upon labs as he enter'd the barn. Slow steps takin' straight to the stall of the mare and youths. He lean'd against the stall door, watchin'. Lettin' the mare get us'd to his smell and presence as he watch'd her and the foals. †
