I started having hives in late Sept 2002. Since that time not a day has gone by without an outbreak. Been to hospital twice for angioedema (swelling of throat, tongue). As of this date Jan 18, 2003, no doctor has found a reason for these hives. Predisone, Allegra180 @2 daily , Zyrtec 10mg and Zantac @ 2 daily still do not stop them! No allergys per specialist, nothing - dermatologist - general doctor has sent me to Rheumtoid doctor in Birmingham due to "questionable" elevated SED rates. Going back to see him next Wed at Montclair Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama with hope of some kind to stop this discomfort. Hives are now becoming painful - where before they were just intense itching. Will keep you up to date. Robin
