Date Posted: 00:57:50 02/02/03 Sun I am a 47 year female that was dx: last year with chronic hives. I went to the Dominican Republic in april of 2001 and had to take the malaria medication. Then in October of 2001 i came down with an upper respiratory infection and that was the first time i was ever that sick. Then the following month ( November ) i came down with the hives and has had them every since. One doctor in Baltimore said i was a allergic to myslef but the other one i saw in tulsa said she does not know why. Had about $800.00 of blood work done and nothing really showed up. I have been on allegra for over a year, been on doxipen, periactin, and they did not work. Is there any hope for use that have this problem. Please e-mail me and let me know what else to do?
