Midnight mare watches from the shadows. She liked to come here every once in awhile because it interested her. Watching the young steed with darkened pools made her wonder about the little one she was carrying. Was it going to want to stay with the herd, or get away as soon as possible. Her toughts were interupted when she heard the steeds call throught the land. Startled, she jumped slightly, hitting a tree beside her and kicking a rock infront of a hoof, into the near by stream. Did he hear her? Was he going to come over to see what the noise was? She wondered to herself in panic. If he came over she would hold her ground, but she knew that if he posed any harm that she would take flight and return to her kingdom.
