Hi Stacey,

I'm back. I emailed earlier today with some questions. I thought that I might be able to help you better if I had more information to go on. I was wondering how you know that this baby doesn't belong to your boyfriend. Are you 100% sure of that?

My above post includes the montage showing what a 9-week fetus looks like. Did you view it? Is that what you expected it to look like? I think women should always know what their baby looks like and how much development has taken place BEFORE they abort. This can be devastating news when it's learned AFTER the abortion.

When I talk to women who are considering abortion I want to say so much to them. It's hard to choose which aspects to cover. This is a big decision. Whether you choose to continue or abort, your life will never be the same. Having an abortion will not take away that the fact that you are already a mother. It will only make you a mother of a dead child. I know this sounds harsh. But it is also the reality. I don't want you to think that the abortion will make all your problems go away and you'll be this happy carefree person. It can be very hard to deal with the fact that you ended your baby's life. Being pro-choice doesn't mean you'll be okay with aborting.

It's normal to want out of an unplanned pregnancy. And I can see that your pregnancy would cause you some embarrassment and possibly problems with your boyfriend. But Stacey, aborting can also cause many problems! The boyfriend you're seeing may not be around in 10 years, but your baby will. If you choose to abort then that won't be the case. But I hope you don't miss out on knowing your little one! The baby that you don't want right now is the same baby you will grow to love with all your heart and soul! How can I be so sure? Because most mothers love their children---even the UNPLANNED/UNWANTED ones!

All the problems you're facing right now will not seem like such a big deal once you let yourself love your baby. Will your child hate you? For what, letting him/her live? You've made one mistake you feel bad about, why make another one that you'll regret and feel guilty about?

I have a lot to say so I'll post again at another time. In the meantime I'll be praying for you.

Take care,

Shellie
